Thanks for the reminder. I need to go order a few Kilos of Kaju Barfi, Pedas and other mitthais. Happy Diwali to you and your family.
BTW are you allowed to set off fireworks in the UK to celebrate the festival. I remember on one visit to India we had a blast during Diwali with all the bottle rockets, sparklers and Thread bombs.

Coincidentally Bonfire Night is on the same day as Diwali, so i will watching the fab forework exhibitions than lighting my own. I normally do each year in UK but not this year.

I have to agree with you on that one buddy. Divali and Holi are probably the 2 of my favorite Indian festival. Divali for the Mitthai and Fireworks and of course Holi for the wet tshirts
PS: Dont forget jalebi, gulab jamun and rasogulla.<<
the only stuff we get here is from Haldiram. I just managed to order 10 Kgs of Doodh Pedas and Kaju Barfi. My favorite Mitthai store is the Parsi Dairy farm at Marine Lines in Mumbai/Bombay.

well maybe that's all he wants for plats. i mean have you seen his plat list? it's very extensive, and long as the plat list he offers here. the "want" list is probably the last bit he wants done for him, otherwise he has pretty much every plats there's to offer here on NGU.
