The second one has more of a focal point but really doesn't make sense.The first one would be better if the render maybe would be sharpened and the edges a bit more darker.

I like how you gave it depth, as well as the change in the color tone. The frosty effect is nice too.
Only thing is the lighting glare of the effect that throws off a bit of lighting.
Overall, you did a great job using a stock. Smile
