Like being able to change the bit rate when recording. Im not too sure what bit rate is, but maybe its to improve quality? If so, what should I have my bit rate set as when playing MW2. And should I be changing anything like Brightness, Contrast, Sharpness ETC with the software you get to use for recording? Ive got Vegas, so I probably dont need to mess with those things?

There is also a slight purple shadowing/haze next to certain things. Mostly white things, it shows a sort of outline. Maybe its my Component A/V cable? Or a faulty PVR? Its not bad enough to get a new one, as you hardly notice it. But I can notice it and if I know its a dodgey Cable, ill get a new cable! Any ideas? Also, feel free to post a video of your quality & settings of what you use. It would more than likely help me alot. Thaaanks

I record at a 8mb/second.

I do my color correction in Vegas. I'm not sure about your color issues. Are you sure you have your cables plugged in to the right spots & plugged all the way in? I know that sounds stupid, but that may cause that issue.

Yeah they are plugged in properly. When I change my t.v back to my hdmi setting when not recording the haze goes away. I forgot to mention the haze is on my t.v and the recording.

oh ok. What settings are you recording in? 720 or 480? that's a strange issue...

upload an example on youtube. Let me see if I can re-create it with mine. It might be a fault PVR. Did you buy it used?

have you turned on the component white setting in display settings on your ps3?
