Hmm this is a little weird. My brain was confused at first, it wanted the guy to be the focal, but then you notice he's blurred out, and so is the vinyl which also confuses me. So; the depth is a little messed up here, which results in there being no real focal. The actual idea is pretty cool, and i like the effects, however i wouldn't have put them on the guy, id have done them around the vinyl or something. But anyways, i like the idea, just need to change a few things and it should be pretty cool.

V2 is much better , i also like what you did with the white border and drop shadow :p

i agree with myers, i want to hate it but i cant, i really like it, its so simple, but it works well,try not to blur the whole render including the vinyl, or even just the vinyl blurred, i would say put a better light source and focal in but i dont think you need it because its a retro style sig, p.s version 2 is better just erase the c4d from his neck
