NIce! I like it, But the render is a bit blurry , isn`t it?

I Gaussian blurred it then sharpened it twice so i didn't feel a need to sharpen it another time

you should delete the blur on mario and blur the Bg a bit to create depth

Anyways its a little beginnerish, but then i am under the impression you haven't been doing this for long. In which case its good =]. Just try and get the blurring/sharpening right, so you create the right depth and mario is the focal point. I don't tend to like to stick with one colour unless i have to (e.g. SOTW) but i guess thats personal preference.

Also the text fails, but most people fail with text (like myself) so id try it with no text.
