yes, the settings need to be changed. If you're changing the quality in vegas or another program try decreasing the brightness and adjust the contrast

Quality is quite good, but it can be better. i suggest getting a S-Video connection to your console and also the huffyuv 2.1 video codec. Record with AMCap and finish off by deinterlacing it with Sony Vegas and make it 16:9 widescreen for youtube 1280x720p

Pretty nice quality.. but there is a problem with your audio.. its only coming out my right speaker.. and no my speakers aren't broken
