(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay so recently I decided I wanted to start recording again using my favorite program called Virtual dub, well mistakenly a few weeks ago I accidentally changed the recording device to screen capture when I was meaning to click dazzle well sadly I can record no more. Basically the situation is whenever I try loading up Virtual Dub to record my dazzle it freezes, now the thing is that it WILL NOT allow me to change the device, if I can get it off of screen capture I am good to go.

There is no other place in this program(that I know of) where you can change your device before it starts freezing.

Ive tried several things to fix this such as...
*Re-booting my computer
*Deleting the folder and everything it it and re-downloading it again
*Downloading another version(Ive tried both the newest of 32 AND 64-bit)
*I used the program file auxsetup that comes with Vdub to clear out all of the registries
*Ive deleted the registries and re-booted

I don't know what else I can possibly do as none of those have worked? So does anyone have a clue how I can change the device back to my dazzle instead of 'screen' capture as that freezes me, and I have a pretty good laptop and this program NEVER froze me before...

In case you couldn't tell I am running w7 home premium 64 bit, like it matters. If you need to know anything else lemme know as this is becoming a concern. Also if you want to fool around with it to see if you can get out of screen capture you can pick this program up at...
