I don't know if its the render or not, but the render looks stretched. The background and render also do not match too well and the text is hard to see.
My advice would be too scrap whatever tutorial you used. search sites such as deviantart for tutorials because the ones on there are normally pretty decent while this tutorial looks like its been leading you in the wrong direction.

Stretched render, no matter how good everything else is, it always = instant fail. Not sure on that white brushing on her shoulder / arm, you've also kinda hidden the text behind it aswell, colouring is good, background looks a bit washed out, more contrast needed.
