When i go to the video output settings on PS3 - i click Component/D Terminal and its just a blank screen appears.

But on the PC, i can see my screen but it lags a little

please help

you probably have it setup wrong from the outside. Can you tell me how your cables are setup?

I have PS3 component cable going into the HDPVR - input

HDPVR component cable from output to TV

usb to pc



I am currently on HDMI, when i try to go to component i get a black screen. I can still hear sound though.

Will give 100k vbux for a solution.

Stupid question but do you have a HDTV? Since I know when I try to change my res on the ps3 to any thing higher then 720p screen goes black but I can here sound.

On your HDMI, go to Display Settings under TOOLS on the PS3 and switch to Component.

thats what i've been trying to do from the start

its really frustrating when i've payed nearly 200 for it and cant use

i'm sure the wires are set up correctly

ok a bit of progress

i plug in the ps3 component cable only with the ps3 and it works fine so something must be wrong with the PVR

Are you changing channels to the componet one? I have to do that as it doesn't work on the hdmi channel

I sorted it but as soon as i went to play MW2 the screen froze

So i reset the ps3 - wouldn't load up FFS

Now trying to rebuilt file system, so hope it works

OooO hope your ps3 hasn't died that'd be gay
