Firstly don't bump,
secondly i think you've pretty much matched the colours but you need to add more it just looks like a fractal with a render on... and use dodge/burn tool to create some depth and if your gonna use a border think it should be smaller maybe 1 or 2 pixel.

really boring background with a render slapped on
just needs more of everything
and border is bloody massive
