I bought a white dazzle a few weeks back and was wondering if anyone has any helpful tips to get the best quality out of it.

My other bit of help was what to capture it with, WMM, Ulead (ezcap) or the Pinnacle Instant DVD recorder. I dont have Pinnacle Studio 12 but does it really make the quality better?

You get best quality with using Instant DVD Recorder, just choose to save to your HD and not a DVD. As it raw format you lose no quality then you have to render in sony vegas
