Are you sure you have it setup right?
This happened to me before because I had my Dazzle and my PS3 Linked to two different channels.
Do you have splitters? If not this might be your problem,

Hope you get it fixed, but these are the only things I can think of.

1. make sure your out of hd and into sd (standerd deffineion), if your on hd, just hold on your ps3 turn on button,NOT ON YOU CONTROLLER, wait for it to beep once, then twice, then for a third time, then go on to atv (or whatever) and it should of reset

2. make sure all your wires are in probaly (usb, splitters are in the right one, ect..)

3. when your on pinnical, make sure that your on your dazzle not the other opiton 'pinnical file capture' other you wont see nothing (thats what got me, spent 2h, just need to change the option'

Are you using Pinnacles Programme to record? Its best when using a Dazzle

But if you are, at the top of the screen, there is a dropdown bar and it will give you a few choices of what camera input you want. Make sure its set to Dazzle DVC100 or something similar

Yeah, i'm doing that (choosing DVC 80) Umm i'm a bit annoyed i thought it'd be easier to set up...

Can anyone tell me what I would need if I was to buy an AverTV HD dvr?

HDMI Splitter and extended (maybe 1.8m) HDMI cable along with the HDMI cable i assume you use to hook up your PS3 already?

Make sure your in standerd definiton
Make sure its plugged in
Make sure in settings the preview box is ticked
If all that fails then your dazzles broke
