Here is my Nickels worth.

1. Good start. Just keep reading peoples guides on d2jsp, youtube, etc.

2. Don't save as a compressed .jpg If you are going to do that then save it as a .png much better quality.

3. Work on your background a bit.

4. Same thing on the render. Don't smush it.

5. Easy text effects are double click the text layer icon then mess with those check box settings.

You are doing better than when you first started.

Definitely keep learning the basics Smile
Work on the text, actually get a different font, smaller text, and set it to overlay and it could look cool.
Also when your saving sigs, always save in PNG for higher quality. JPEG sucks :p

work with a better quality render/stock, getting things from planetrenders and or Deviant art(only if they give rights) is very good, smudging/brushing should be done to blend the render not just sit behind the render with the exceptions of effects and overlay/blending options. Always save as a .png only exception to that is a .gif for animations but animations arnt the best to do. try working with text.

Okay thanks for the tips guys on how to make a sig. I was watching a ton of youtube tuts on how to make a form sig.

Eh? you truthly token 2hours ? no offence but i could make that in like 5mins,
there not may effects, colours, blending etc
the render is very low quality
its ite for a start dont give up and keep trying.
