(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys I'm having a problem with my Easycap capture card, you see I was able to successfully capture some video (as you may be able to see in my YouTube Channel) but even if that was the case I will get these lines on my video, now I have an even bigger problem. Here's my method for capturing video:

1) S Video Plugged into capture card, while the yellow component video is in along with the red one, while the white one is plugged into Easycap

2) Ulead Studio cant capture it for some reason, when it does its too slow (plus i dont really like it) therefore I use pinnacle studio Ultimate 12

3) I turn on the xbox and go into the settings of Pinnacle studio and then I make sure the audio is set to USB 3 Audio (if I pick Audio line in the screen automatically goes blank) and that usually determines if I can capture video or not.

4) What I want to know is how to consistently capture video without any of the restarts

* Occasionally if I restart it a lot and it wont work it says invalid input signal

- Please help because I love makin videos!

Don't plug in both the S-Video and composite (yellow cable) at the same time. The red and white are for audio (left and right).

Make sure you choose the right input so the capture card knows what connection to record from.

What is your yt channel so I can see these "lines" you are talking about.

I would recommend using a s-video splitter (if your tv accepts s-video) and 2 audio splitters. Connect the s-video splitter to the s-video cable on your xbox, run 1 to your TV and the other to the Easycap. Connect a splitter to the white plug and the red plug on your xbox cable, run one set (red and white) to your TV and the other set to your Easycap. There are a bunch of video on setting this up, shouldn't be that hard. Now if your Easycap won't stay recording it may be a software problem and not the setup of the cables.

You must login or register to view this content. thats my channel, but I don't get it, If I can capture without splitters on occasion why can't I do it all the time consistently?

looking at your vids it looks a little choppy. Maybe your easycap is messed up or the cables are bad. It's hard to tell.
