That's really good for a beginner! The text looks good, and the swirl effect (An easy one to use, yet can improve a pic so much) looks really well. I think the background is ok, its not bad and the effects done on it are nice. I would like to see a bit less negative space, throw something in there to add more than just a single background. Many amazing backgrounds now consist of many different layers. Otherwise, good work!

Starting out good there same as what luckofthemoose said. You might also want to try rendering the stock as well so it blends a little more, but hey love the little beam of light around her looks good maybe add some little stars coming off of it and make the light a tad bit brighter

Nice sig for a begginer and yeah i would do what lazy cam said. next time try and put more detail in or make a smaller banner size so it doesnt look like a picture was just plonked on it

Wow that is really good! :O i made one a while back and it sucks Lol it had happy face in a plain yellow background for a beginner i would give your sig a 5/5 maybe if you add a little just a little more pazzaz it would be a 6/5
