Post: Buying HD PVR help/advice?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok well I'm looking to buy this pvr [ame=https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0018LX0DY/ref=asc_df_B0018LX0DY1172955?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=dealt437472-20&linkCode=asn&creative=395093&creativeASIN=B0018LX0DY]Amazon.com: Hauppauge 1212 HD-PVR High Definition Personal Video Recorder: Electronics[/ame] but what I need to know is what stuff will I need to buy like when i bought my dazzle I needed the AV cables, splitters etc etc.

Also if anyone can find a cheaper one vbux will be given as reward (not alot.)

advice 1: Buy it from the Haupauge site, not amazon or anywhere else. They support you better when things go wrong if you buy it straight from them. Their site was also cheaper than amazon when i bought mine.

advice 2: as long as you already have the component cables for your ps3 i dont think you need anything... but i could be wrong. you might need an extra set of component cables. male to male i think. i'll double check though.

yeah, i noticed its cheaper if you're from europe on amazon. sorry lol in the US its the same price but you get better support and they make sure you get the updated model. when i bought mine amazon was still selling the old model. sorry lol

Hmmm which one should i buy then I don't really mind about old/new version aslong as its only looks that are diffrent.

new. i think amazon sells the new one now though. the old one used to overheat
