(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey NGU, thanks to your awesome threads on PS tuts and such, I spent a few hours watching some tutorials and reading that awesome beginners GFX thread and decided to take a crack at making a PSD.
Its not a sig IMO cause usually mine has my name but it was just some creation.

Don't be too harsh but tell me what I need to improve on and what awesome features I can use (on CS4) to help me get better.
Thanks Smile

Everything on this picture was created by me, well except for the render of course; the only other thing is a low opacity photo of rain in the background. But, besides those two photos every effect on there was created by me and not a template.
****UPDATE****
I changed it a little bit and fixed the shadow like you said Smile

Hey man not too bad for your second creation =D . It lacks the basic effects lighting and depth. just keep up the tuts.

P.S the shadow needs work

Other than that great work and keep at it mate.

Lol the reason there are two conflicting views is because the first post understands that you're new, but the second is like "I'm going to hold you to my standard of GFX despite the fact it's only your second tag *insert awesomeface here*"

Get away from using the pentool like that, it really really really doesn't work. Download some brushes and make your backgrounds/effects with those. =)

Like all have said, less pentool. I won't trash the shadow, but I'd like to see you try grunge work Winky Winky

It's slightly better, but the major problems are still there.

Your best bet is to just go onto another tag and start over. You'll get better the more you make, not the more you try to fix every mistake.

Oh yeah, I know, what I did was just edit some stuff real quick cause I still work from the PSD file with different layers and such still. I am going to start again on something else but I was just changing this one for the moment.

Come one man, he barely started making sigs and what not and you are acting like if he was some pro..."looks very beginnerish" um i wonder why? maybe cuz he said that its barely his second sig? /facepalm... It would be better for you to tell him how he can fix it and not just blur out negative comments as if you were some master yourself, be courteous :y:
