like the black|white one! it's rather bland though

Alrite, couple thing you can improve on
-lighting, you should add a light source here because on both tags there's true light source, it just bright because of the color but on the B&W one it's obvious, add one
-Depth, you can easily show depth on this type if image you are trying to portray, just use gaussian blur and erase the main focal
-flow, I know it's not that obvious and you got it almost right with having the flow going outwards but on some parts of the c4d is going inwards, it's easier to see it on the B&W version...but like I said it's not that obvious and you did a pretty good job on that :y:

The color that people are complaint about Is really not that bad, on this part your always going to have someone not happy with it because either if you put to much color they say "the colors do not match, try to keep it more simple" and if you put just a little you will get response like you got above...so it really comes down to you and what you like best, IMO I think you did ok with the color I like it but you can add a second color to see how that goes (red, or green probably)
