I do it coz im BORED
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I used to use GIMP to do GFX, but recently "bought" photoshop, and I have a question.

In gimp, when you right-clicked a layer, there was an option "alpha to selection". When I pressed that, it would select every non-transparant on that layer.

How can I do this in Photoshop CS5? :(

you could also right click on the thumbnail and click select pixels.

GIMP is pretty much basic version on Photoshop.
But its hard to use when you've already used photoshop.
