I think it may be too bright. I still like V3 the best, but I thought I would post it here for fun . I won't do any more edits, I promise :p.
O and what do you guys think of the matching avatar .

First off the render is not clearly defined.
The actual effects, not much effort but clipping mask, doesnt look real good.
The text isnt clearly defined but I can make out what it says.
No depth to the BG.
Gradient map doesnt look to good .

Just keep practicing.

I like it, but I have to agree that the focal is not that clear, it just camouflages with the background, you can fix this by adding more depth to it or put a light source next to it to attraction the attention of the eye or adding some color to it

Now about the flow, I can see kinda what you got going on the right side but going more to the left it just starts to scatter, be more persistent with it and follow all the way through the whole sig, adding c4d going the same way definitely helps this problem out

The depth, like I said earlier, you could have made a little bit more effort to make the focal stand out from the bg, gaussin blur helps and just erase the focal

The text could have been placed better, I like the concept you have with the clipping mask (I'm a huge fan of it) but if you are going to do that, move the text where it is clear and visible to view so it doesn't match colors with the bg, like for example you have the text matching with that c4d or whatever is behind it, for some people it's hard to see, you could have left the same clipping mask but have put the text on like the right hand corner of the sig where it is white

The border, I like how you made the bottom border but then you made the top border different, it looks good if you have the border matching so for this sig I would have sticked to the bottom border on the top and bottom

Overall it's good, I like the color scheme you used and I like the effort you put into it, just work on all the small things and eventually it will make a huge difference GJ:y:

Thanks for the CnC =D. But just to throw something out about this quote ^^^, I duplicated the layer I made the border on, so it is exactly the same. I'm not sure what you're seeing thats different, but if there is something I'm missing, please point it out .

O and btw, the thing behind the text is a clipping mask. I used nothing but clipping masks for this because when I tried to put C4D's in it somewhat killed the grunge effect and I couldn't really get any good flow to it with them (I didn't really have any good C4D's on my comp and cba to go look for any, as I made this while I was playing SnD ). The only reason I placed the text where it is now is because I thought the 'bar' underneath it made it stand out better. Maybe I should move the clipping mask around a bit and try to make it blend a bit less though.

O shit my bad, I saw Helios quote of the sig and I was going based off that cuz I didn't want to keep changing pages but I didn't know you could scroll down it lol, so I just saw up to where the clipping mask line was and I thought that was your bottom border, sorry bout that lol

Lol its ok. I actually was thinking of making my border a clipping mask but never did it. Do you think it would look better like that?

I tried to take yours and everyone elses CnC in to consideration and fix this thing up and I think it looks 100% better. The focal seems more well defined, the border looks cool (and different from what I usually do :y, and the text is way more readable (+ some other little things I did just for shits and gigs ). Let me know what you think now .
