(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys,
This is a tutorial i made for someone who is 100% new to making sigs!

If i get good feedback i'll make an intermediate tutorial and then advanced!
Any problems with this tut PM me!

Ok so let's get started:

1) Open up photoshop cs5, If you don't have it, go here: You must login or register to view this content.

2) Now, open it up, and go to file, new, and change the height to 500 and the length to 150 and then press ok.

3) Now, go to google images and type in: C4D render abstract, and pick one that you like, then click on it so the picture get's bigger, the copy it and go back to CS5 and paste.

4) Now you will see all the CS5 tools on the left hand side, press the very 1st tool and move around your background untill it's in a position where you feel it looks good.

5) Now, go to layer at the top, press layer, then new layer, go back to google and pick another abstract preferably one that differs from your first, then click it, copy it, go back to CS5 and paste it, then move it around till you feel it's in a good position.

6) Now, you need to change the opacity of the layer you are on from 100% to 60%, to do this if you look just above layers you should see opacity, just change it to 60%, And there is your background made!

7) Now you need to find a picture you want to include e.g. Super Mario, go to google images and find the picture you want, once found copy it.

8 ) Now go back to CS5 and press file, new, and change nothing just press ok, then paste the picture.

9) Now you need to get the picture away from the background, to do this press the 4th icon down on the left and highlight your picture and press delete and it should delete the background.

10) Now press Ctrl + A to highlight everything and then press Ctrl + C.

11) Now go back to untitled one at the top (the one with all your other work) and press Ctrl + V.

12) Your picture should now be ontop of your background, if you want to make it smaller/bigger hit Ctrl + T, then move it around or make it bigger or smaller to your liking.

13) Now right click the layer you are on, then press duplicate layer and do this twice.

14) You should now have 5 layers, Go to your 3rd layer, then at the top go to filter, blur, motion blur, then have the angle as 40% and the distance as 100.

15) Now go to your 4th layer, go to filter, blur, Gaussian blur, and put it as 4.0, then put the opacity as 66%.

16) Now go to your 5th layer and make the opacity 20-45%, it's up to you.

17) Now you have to do the text, to do this look on the left hand site at the tools, and click the T its the 16th icon down, then make a text box on the sig and at the top change the font to whatever you look and the size to about 35-45, Then double click your newest layer, and a menu should come up, right at the bottom of the menu, click stroke then press ok.

18 ) Then duplicate the layer by right clicking.

19) Now you should have 7 layers, click on your 6th layer and make the opacity 35% and then at the top go to filter, blur, Gaussian blur, and make it 1.0.

20) Now go to your 7th layer, and make the opacity 63%.

21) You have now finished your sig! To save it properly goto File, Save as, Save as the title as you want, and under that change the format to JPEG, then press Save and you are done!

It would be nice to give credit where it is due......

Now, if you made the tut, which i sincerely doubt,(For anyone wondering, copy and paste a certain quantity of the post into google search.) it is ok. Even as a beginner, i would suggest starting higher, and harder than that. It would also be hard to follow, as it is a very bland and boring tut.

Ok..
1. I made this tut 100%, i might be a noob here, but i'm not a noob.
2. Don't make silly assumptions please, and be hating on my thread for no reason.
3. And some people find this type of thing extremely hard, i don't know if you have ever made a thread trying to explain how to use photoshop, it's hard, i'm not going to add exciting colours and language just so people get more excited.
4. This is for 100% beginners, there is no point in going harder.
