Just thought id share a background i made a couple of minutes ago using adobe photoshop cs5.
Yes i followed a tutorial and this is my outcome.
Now i know a bit more about GFX hopefully i won't need to use many tutorials now.
Comment here if you have any tips for me and what you like or dislike about is.

there is too much glow on the text IMO, and btw, what brush did you use for the dots?

Text is too blurry and the dna looking things are just really weird. :/

It wasnt a brush mate ... You need to select your brush tool then choose on of the fade brushes. After that you need to go to windows then brushes. Then click scattering then choose the options below ...
500% scatter
Count 1
Count Jitter 1%
Then you just need to rub your brush and the dots will appear ... its kinda complicated to put in text form but i tried.

If the text was a tad sharper I think it would look so much better, but that's just one man's opinion.

What's this background for? Just curious

Agreed on sharper text

Ill give it a go in my next piece and the background just has cloud render in with fading effects
