Good try for your 1st one mate, look at a few tutorials, smudging works alot with sigs can make it really stand out, also if that was me i would of put a lighting source at the top right coming down, all in all for your first attempt its really good mate Smile

With a brush? Lol. There are easier ways but i dont know how your psd is setup.

Ctrl + left click the layer with the game.
Its now selected. Go in top to Select - Modify - Contract and do 1PX then rightclick inside the selected area and select "Select Inverse" and press delete. See if that works out and looks good Smile

EDIT; ive just made something simple and ive cut out by the method i just gave you. You can see the diffrence:

Dont forget to check out pixel2life.com, they got some great tutorials which could learn you the basic's and advanced stuff.
