(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey Hey here's my first tutorial so be nice Happy

Make sure you have the animation bar down at the bottom before you start!

1. Make a photoshop file called whatever you want. 500x200 pixels and the background as transparent.

2. Start off by putting in some text, go on, it can be whatever you want!

3. Do some effects maybe bevel and emboss or stroke or just anything you like.

4. Now for the scanline, you can use pretty much any image you want but for this tutorials purposes i will use the ngu logo.

You must login or register to view this content.

5. Save that image somewhere on your computer and then place it in the photoshop document. Transform it to what ever position you want over your text.

6. You might want to clean up that image a bit so grab your magic wand tool and select the black background of the ngu and delete it.

7. Once you are happy with the positioning of your NGU image, drag the image to the end of your text. Now drag the text layer down to that icon with a 'o' inside a box. Your image should now have been wrapped to the text.

8. Currently you have only got 2 frames so select the 'forever' button on the animation bar and put the amount of frames to 100.

9. Go ahead and play it but if you want a cool effect to your scanline read on.

10. On the last frame, highlight it and click the forever button again. There should be a drop down button. Select the 'first frame' one in the drop down.

11. Play it again your image should now bounce back and forth!

It should kinda look like this:

if you mean where is it, it is along the side. If you mean it wont work then go to your paint tool on the layer it will tell you do you want to rasterise select yes then click the magic wand tool and click on the black and press backspace it should have disappeared. Right click it and press deselect and voila!

urm you'll have to rasterize it then select a load of black or white then delete it basically.
