looked really cool so i gave it ago myself, following the tut you posted:

EDIT: when rendering to png its made the background transparent which is odd? also the light on the bottom bit of the pokeball is weird, im not sure how to fix that (i think its cause im 11.5 and he says the light behaves differently)
