It's probably going to be easier for you if you just make signature. Then you can simply cop out and properly size the portion you want for the avatar.

As for the actual piece:
It' very basic and random. There's really no flow or depth to it; just nas slapped on infront of some fractals. Keep at it though, I know you're a beginner so nothing will come easy. Work at it!
