Only problem I can see is that it's difficult to see the horn.

looks nice, i prefer #2 the only problems i see is, well i cant see the horn and the horse seems a little out of place on the ground, try to make it look like its in the grass a little more, besides that great work!

Very nice man, looks pretty realistic imo. I thought the stock had the grass in the middle until I looked at it. Props man.

The head needs a shadow. Brushing black with the layer on multiply would make that happen. Great job though, the rest of the blending is sweet. Awesome face

Yeah I agree with JD. The head looks like it's floating above the grass. You need some shadow under it so it looks more realistic.
