Post: Needing Help With Resolution

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have Recently bought Sony Vegas 9.
Earlier on I was messing about with some feautures it has and thought, why not post a Tester on Youtube to See how the quality is. (Thank God I Did)
I posted a tester on it and realised I dont have the right Resolution for Youtube. The video is pretty clear but at the sides, corners are chopped.
Im guessing that the resolution I had it too was wrong.
Whats the proper Resolution you guys have used on Sony Vegas. Vegas has about 20 resolution thingys & even a 'Custom' I havent the slightest clue what it should be.
Maybe its even the resolution my Dazzle has been set to? :S
If it is my Dazzle whats yours set too? It looks better on this because the 'window' is smaller, but the lines are still visible.
Here is what it looks like: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ecp7P_cjCHU"]YouTube - Tester Sony Vegas[/ame]

Montagical gives pretty good tutorials for all versions of Vegas. But just in case you didn't watch the vid, the settings are basically:

YouTube Widescreen HQ: 720:480

YouTube Widescreen HSad Awesome 1280x720

Thanks for posting the video dude and the Information! Happy
Really Appreciated.
Tried out the guys advice in the video but some stuff like; "Vegas Movie Studio does not support output of frame sizes greater than 800 (width) by 600 (height). The template you have selected has been removed from the template list." popped up. :S
Also tried your 720:480 but, still has sides chopped. :\ Awesome face
When I tried to Render it as 1280:720 it also said "Vegas Movie Studio does not support.." BLAH!
Pretty weird, I could have sworn my videos never used to be chopped! Happy
Think Youtube had some kind of Maintenance the other day, maybe they changed it during that? God knows.

Your problem is that you have Movie Studio and not Pro. I recommend getting a Torrent and downloading either Sony Vegas Pro 8 or 9.
