I usually make Youtube Backgrounds for myself and some friends and recently I've decided to attempt to make a signature.

So instead of just making the signature I've decided to attempt a boarder as well to make it all look better so can you all please leave some feedback as i know its not as good as could be by a long shot.

This is just a starting point for me, this is my first remember so please be constructive.

Do a barrel roll!
BG color doesn't match the render
you shouldn't center your focal right in the middle, use the rule of thirds
really plain and open canvas on the sides
good quality

Sorry but I have no idea what rule of third's is, I did this without using any tutorials hence the easy errors. I wanted to see what I could do on my own Winky Winky

Ill look into that, thanks.

I think this is really good for your first signature attempt. The render may not go with the colors behind it, like said above, but it really isn't bad, not the best contrast, but nothing bad. The effects you have going on are nice, good text and coloring of the background. A bit of blank space to the sides and a bit uneveen (if you look closely the right has more background showing then the left, which helps add a bit of unbalance, which can be good, but does not work here) but the border helps balance it out. I like most of your border, but I think it becomes a bit thin and "un-connected" I guess you could say. I would Make the bottom of the border a bit shorter, a little more bold (not overpowering though), and more connected and together(this is the styled border outside the border btw). The "Groovy Designs" above the main portion of your signature is unecessary imo, and is a bit to grey, and since your text is a similar grey it is not appealing to the eyes. Good job for your first sig, even if this was your 10th, it would still be good. Good luck on creating more sigs, can't wait to see them!

Maybe changing the colours of the background to the colour red from your focal, would fit nicer.
