(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay, So I had the hauppauge set to record in mp4, then to my dismay, I realized vegas screws this up. Does anybody know an HD Mp4 file editor or a fix for my problem? 200 vbux if you fix it

how does it screw it up exactly?? can't say much without knowing the problem.

although here is my advice, record in m2ts and then use the media converter to convert it to mp4. then load it in sony vegas Smile

When I put any mp4 from the PVR, it shows only the top left corner of the video file. Ill show you in a screen cap.
I now record in the m2ts, and it shows up fine in vegas. I just want to be able to use some of the footage that I got from when I used mp4.

hmm that is very strange, looks like its been event panned cropped for no reason :/ you tried like zooming out using the pan crop settings??

what you could do is put the mp4 files onto a memory stick and put them on your ps3 or xbox and re-record them that way Smile

yeah I looked through a lot of settings, :( I think I will try your idea though. Smile Thanks

go to fie>properties> then scroll the bar down to 1080x720 i think it is

No, the settings in vegas are fine. It's just that the program won't recognize the mp4 files correctly, and only shows the top left corner.

Don't record using Xbox setting, record us Ps3 setting. This should fix it.
