Because the left side is sharpened more than a pencil that breaks when you breathe on it, and the right side is blurrrrrrred. But I see what you mean lol.

Someone understands why it's so sharp woooo!
By sharpening the image, the edges actually become lighter as well which gives the smudging those jagged, lightning bolt shapes that are barely visible but give the whole thing texture.
