You're improving, the one thing is that I don't sense too much flow and the lighting on both is too much. Keep it up though.

Try looking at some GFX teams' websites that has tutorials, look tutorials up in google or go to deviant art for lighting tutorials...

On topic. The first one is good but way too much light. The render doesn't really blend to much and remember to use C4D's. not just fractals. Lighting is very good and creates good depth
