Tut Made by Most Dope
Alright im here to teach you the basics of signature making.
1.
Lighting
Lighting is a pretty important factor in signature making, it gives the signature a realistic look.
How to locate lighting
Its very common for people to get confused and put the lighting coming in through the wrong side of the signature. To locate where the lighting is needed, you need to identify what part of the render or focal is the brightest, some renders dont have a brighter part, in those cases you can always use the dodge and burn tool to create a bright part and a dark part
How to create Lighting
To create lighting you will want to use a soft brush, and simply brush around with the layer mode in soft lighting.
2.
Flow
Now personally i think the most important thing after depth is flow. Flow is obtained by making all the effects go in the same direction.
How to create Flow
Flow can be created by identifying where the renders actions or movements are headed too if the render is going from bottom left to top right, you might want to do the same with the effects...
3.
Depth
Whats depth
Depth gives us a feeling of how far away an object is and it a visual ability to perceive the world in three dimensions.
how to create depth
Well depth can be obtained with two key factors
-Background Blurring
-Light source
By blurring the background you give the signature that 3D effect.
Now depth can be enhanced with some dodging and burning

4.
Text
Let me start off by saying that text isn't always necessary, you can leave a signature as it is. But the thing is you can't just slap on text, it needs to make sense.
How to place text
Well there isn't really a spot where text HAS TO GO IN but you always want to make it so the text doesn't mess with the flow of the signature. You can check out Caspa's tutorial for more info
Other Tips on text
Well this is a pretty small part but if you can't get the text to blend, you can always use clipping masks.
5.
Border
Ok, border is what messes up people the most when they make signatures. Most people slap on a border to their signatures, what they don't know that borders, as well as text can make and break a signature. The problem with bad borders is that it messes with the signatures depth.
How to determine if border should be added
Well there isn't really a way to determine if a border should be added, its more of a thing that comes with experience, when you master all three basic key factors of signature making, you will know if border should be added
thanks for checking out the tut
thank the topic and nominate

hahaha jk but feedback is appreciated
well there you go those are the basics of signature of making, by applying those concepts to your signatures, you will achieve your dream tags
