This certainly has some great potential. The only thing I'd do to improve it would be adjust the colours so that blue isn't everywhere, I suggest a dark colour scheme but that's just my preference. Also try to adjust the contrast a bit, right now the lighting from the effects is a bit too much, having some shadows around the place will definitely help out - a simple curves layer would do that for you easily.
