Few tips:

1. Pick a general theme (you have 3 random pictures that don't go together)
2. Try to blend your renders so they just don't look inserted
3. Make a focal point

Keep at it though and keep trying Happy

No problem.
After seeing yours I just posted one I recently made in Graphics Room.
Have a look for ideas if you like.

Would you suggest a different program?

No I use Photoshop and it's a great program.
You just need to watch some tuts and get used to the program and what it can offer.
Try going to You must login or register to view this content. for different brushes.
Also get some render, c4d, effect, etc. packs (can download them just about anywhere).
Watch a few tuts or look for tuts and just try them to learn some techniques.
