your smudges are really boring try adding some more colour and variation into the direction and flow of the lines

You need to vary your style a bit more. I used to stick to one style I was comfortable with stepping out of the box will help. Smudge itself is ok but it is boring. Try adding some light orbs to give it more life. The text is terrible and rule number 1 of text is NEVER put it in the corner. Learn about the rule of thirds for text.
