However, I can't say i see anything necessarily bad, so its definitely decent work!
It's just simply missing something, I cannot put a finger on what it's missing though.
It has absolutely no action, and i suppose that that's the problem.
Usually actionless renders are made up for with stunning blending, effects, and techniques. Yours lacks any of those.
So - nothing bad here - you just left out that crucial piece.
That crucial piece can be whatever you want it to be though.
