not bad for a first attempt but you should have used a smaller size. that way you will have a lot less "empty" space to deal with.

It looks good, except that the text stands out a bit too much. You want it to be subtle yet noticeable, and fit the theme and color scheme of your sig. Other than that, nice work

My tip to make text easier for you:

1. Color. Use the color drop tool or w/e the hell it's called (it's that image of an eye dropper, really no idea wut it's called lol). Use it to select colors you used in other layers, and apply those colors to the text so to create a matching color scheme. I see you tried to go with purple, but the shade of purple in the text didn't really work well w/ the other shades of purple in the sig.

2. Text almost NEVER looks good just on it's own. For a beginner like yourself, you could still at least throw in a gradient or some other effect. Once you're better, you can try to make the text "flow" with the rest of the sig. If you don't know what that means, consult one of the sticked threads.
