Remember, this is the very first time I've actually tried making something like this, so it's nowhere any good, but I will keep practicing. What do you think? =]

Not a bad first attempt at all, First of all, if i were you i'd try and stay away from text in signatures, unless you perfect it, it's very hard to use well :p
also: try and create flow and lighting, flow just basically means an overall direction of a sig, E.g from bottom left to top right (kinda what you've done). also lighting to make the sig look more realistic.

Better now try darkening the corners of the sig, to make it look like the lighting is effecting the entire tag

For first try its really good. You'll only get better!
