Post: My first sig (give me advice please)

Heres my first sig, erm just wondering if you can give me some advice on how to improve it etc. The lighting, blur, and text is pretty bad but ah well xD.
Also dont get to complex aha im only a beginner so keep it easy and simple if possible.

Im gonna use my new sig as my sig now aha
and yea im using cs4 and i was resizing it myself using the clickable things in the corners but il just hold shift now^^
yea the text was pretty gay but i was looking on dafont for literally 1min.
if you can link me to some good font sites or something that would be great
anyways thanks.

Just look around dafont its probably the best tbh. Also as you want some basic tips, i would advise that you try to blend the render using smudging
Just select the smudge tool and play around with the settings and try smudging the render around some edges, if it doesnt look go simply go back and try again. Also try using some C4D's and play with the blending options e.g. overlay, soft light etc. and see which looks best. Id just try that for now, as a first its pretty good. You have a good background although the render isnt that good because it has lots of lengths of hair going everywhere which isnt very easy to blend, the render also takes up too much of the sig IMO. Well ok try some of that stuff :p if you need anymore help just pm me and ill give you a hand. Good start
