I personally see this site as more of a GFX community than a real GFX design forum. But I like places like this (hell, they're my favorite type of site) because I get the most feedback on the visual aspect of my tags, rather than the technical aspects.
Like, technically speaking, this is a well-done grunge tag. Visually, to me, it looks good, but to others it (obviously) doesn't. So now I need to try to adjust my style to make it both aesthetically and artistically better.
IMO, the text ruins this one =/, it stands out too much, it could stand out, because its obviously the focal, but not this much.
Also, although the technicalities behind gfx are important, to be honest its the end result which matters, just like with advertising. If the idea is for it to look good, the public arent going to look at the technicalities they're going to just look at the final result. So technicalities are only minorly important imo.
