Okay, so first, your colors are way off. It doesn't matter what color he _should be_, it matters what color he _is_. The skin should start white and only be as dark as you have it in the light shadow. You need a _lot_ more shades, you're nowhere near done with this.

Make his eyelids black and his lips a really dark grey and it would look 100% better.

Nice effort on vector graphics. If done right, I love 'em.
