Post: Youtube Render Fail
11-21-2009, 04:23 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I made a WM2 montage.
It took about 2 hours to uploaded to youtube, only for it to say 'failed'
Not sure why It failed. Maybe it was because I rendered it as .wmv on Vegas? (Ive always rendered as that). Maybe this was a one off, and I should do it again. But I cba to waste 2 hours rendering it, if the upload is going to fail again because Im doing something wrong. Should I render it as something else? Or what do you render your file as?
Please help. Winky Winky :cool:

Rendering and uploading is two different things.

  • Rendering is creating files, as in Sony Vegas.
  • Uploading is put the file to a server, as in uploading a video/video file to YouTube.

If it finished uploading and you get an error.
Go to "My Videos" to see if the video is there or being processed.

Rendering is not something you can only do with vegas, it's making one video out of X amount of frames.
