Hmm they seem to get better as they go down, the second last is my favourite although it could use some different colours imo. Id definately come back to gfx because your sigs have potential, most up there arent great and need work BUT almost all have potential and show knowledge of GIMP. Also dont use GIMP as an "excuse" because its just as good as photoshop

Not a noob question at all. If you have read carefully what I wrote, I mentioned that I have not done any gfx for 6 monthes.... so I have no clue but If I get my hands on the gimp program again I would get fimiliar with it of course. I'll let you know once I get gimp again.

Actually it's pretty easy...This is for photoshop:
Okay first, if you want to apply this affect to your signature, you open the signature you want, create a new layer, then go to apply image, to apply image.. when you are done that, go to filter, pixelate, mosaic and set it to 12 size square.
Once you are done that, you can erase what you don't want, before or after you add the effect you want.
After that, you go to filter -->sharpen-->sharpen then click control F a couple of times more until you get the effect you want. This looks best when its only in corners, but its your choice you use it. I personally think it looks 100% better with darker colors, and you cant do it on just a white background or just black, it has to be a design, or you wont be able to see the mosaic tiles...
But anyways The littlebigplanet one's are the best in my opinion...

That pretty much sums it up lolz, just a little different for gimp I guess.
