(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello, my username is brianbbrian1, but you can call me Brian. I have recently became interested the use of photoshop for forum signature and profile picture for forums. I am posting this today to get some feed back on my first signature I did by following a guide from deviantart that a user had put in his post here a while back. The stock image of the car I have in this signature was pulled off of google. I used a few bubble C4D's from deviantart as well as some sponge, grunge, and fractal brushes.

I hope that the people who view my first piece will leave some constructive criticism / more tutorials that you think I would need to take a look at to fix some rough spots or what ever skill I need to improve on will be very helpful and appreciated.

Also, if you have any suggested fonts/brushes/c4d/render packs for me to obtain please send me a private message so I can acquire them.

First of all welcome! A few comments about your sig. Whenever you resize make sure to hold shift. This way you won't stretch your image and have it look out of proportion. The background became way to dark that at this point it just looks like a Supra with a black background and all your work is lost. Over time the quality of your work will improve drastically. Just follow a few tutorials and post your outcomes to keep getting comments on what to focus next time.

Here is a tutorial an old friend of mine made which a lot of beginners have tried and have had nice outcomes. Try it out You must login or register to view this content.

Also a BakaArts has a few video tutorials for you to watch, might be easier to understand

Thanks for tips, I see what you on image resizing, now that I look at the image I started with, and compare it with what I ended up with I must say it doesn't look proportionate. I will also work on not making as dark, I honestly was trying to get a bit of depth or motion to it but I will find out the proper ways of obtaining that effect and apply it in my future signatures. Im going to follow the tutorial you linked and I will check out BakaArts too.
