ok if thats the case duplicate your render a few times and smudge it there is a sort of preset you need to make if you want the style in the first sig you posted (i made it) i will post a tutorial soon because it will be my first...it wont be video so ill be spending my time making one ..you can also use stocks or even just brushes look up tutorials on how to make sigs in general usually it shows how to make a good background in the sig i recently found this tut it looks good and could really benifit you You must login or register to view this content. if you need help finding out how to install the brush look it up there are plenty of tuts out there...A good place to start to look for brushes is Deviant Art.

EDIT: I'm sorry but i can't make that Tutorial i was halfway through it when my dad pulled out the plug on the laptop and i lost all the work because our battry is bust and it doesnt charge :( and i was really looking forward to posting it sorry
