Ooooo i like that alot.
Im just kinda taking it really slow and watching tuts.
I havent even tried using C4Ds yet

Awesome first attempt! Just keep it up and always continue to educate yourself!

I would recommend moving your focal over to the left a little more, falling in line of the rule of thirds. Also focus on the flow that was provided to you from the render you chose. See how he is naturally fading upwords/right, make sure your effects, lighting, and any smudges you might add also compliment that movement.

As for the text, I'd never recommend using a 'comic' font. Nothing to goofy or out of the ordinary. Stick to your bold/thinner traditional fonts such as Helvetica and you'll get much nicer text.
