✪ Welcome to my Logo tutorial! ✪

In this tutorial i will be showing you how to make a simple logo. This tutorial will be made clear as possible. I do advice you getting to know the basics of the program before following this. If you do have any requests on what tutorials i should make, or if you have a question regarding designs then feel free to ask.


✪ Step 1 ✪ Creating your work space...

1 - Start up Photoshop CS6 ( or whatever version you use )

2 - File > New > Then copy the following settings...

So now you have somewhere to work, let's get onto the fun part Winky Winky


✪ Step 2 ✪ Inserting Text...


1 - Select the 'Text' Tool on the work pallet.. or click 'T' on your keyboard.
2 - Insert the text that you want...

3 - Edit the text, by adding shapes to it. You can do whatever you want to with this Smile

✪ Step 3 ✪ Make it look cool Winky Winky


***This section is what will make the difference between something that looks average, to something that looks insane!***

1 - You want to add a layer style to your logo... Here are some that you can use ( Download Link You must login or register to view this content. )

2 - Find the layer style you want to use... Select the text layer > Right Click > Copy Layer Style

3 - Convert all your layers into one...

4 - Copy the layer style... Select Layer > Right Click > Paste Layer Style

Nice Bondy, if I might make a suggestion for who ever reads this, leave your DPI settings to 72 (recommended for web use) on your logo ( or any graphics) this will reduce file size without reducing quality, the only time you really need to raise that is if you are going to print your graphics and if you are going to print the recommended DPI is 300. But keep in mind again this will increase your file size.... Not by much but if you do graphics ever day it can easily consume your HDD space quickly.
