Post: Help with finding the name (and possibly a tut) for this effect?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay so I want to make a night sky scroll around to make it look like the night it progressing, not into daylight just moving.

Here is and example:
(STARS ONLY)

There is a lot of different ways you could achieve this effect. But first, we would need to know which program you are planning to use to make this effect. Then we will be more able to help you out.

I would have thought the way to achieve this would be after effects, but if there is a better/easier software out there which can help me create this, lay it on me :P

if I understand what you want, you just have to use photoshop to remove the sky, then save in png, and put a video in background using any video editor

I know that part, but how would I create an infinite scrolling sky

this isn't hard you just have to be creative, there's a lot of different ways, like the guy up ahead said, I could easilly do it with sony vegas.

I don't think "be creative" is a valid tutorial/help

Okay I have done it.

Here is how it turned out, 1080p 60FPS, 1920x1080
