"CCAPI is supported for FW4.81 DEX (Just released)" (Nothingbutbread) Literally JUST released within the last hour. Thanks man, time to try it out :)

"this doesn't fix a console id ban tho..." (CGQuinn) Why wouldn't it?

"So can I just change the MAC address by a number and it'll work (example: A1:1A:1A:11:A1:A1 to A1:1A:1A:11:A1:A2)?" (AHWM) Exactly what I did.

"I've been banned twice after like 24hours I'm unbanned" (SeiffyTheGod) Dynamic IP?

Posted by cj-da-fatty , 01-13-2017 08:24 PM.

"How is this untrue?" (SeiffyTheGod) I think I may have though you were quoting me. It's still 50% accurate though. You will most likely end up banned again within 24 hours by simply changing IP address. However not a single one of my customers have the luck of getting unbanned. Only method they resolved it by is getting a new router. It'...

Have you tried rebooting PC? Or disconnecting from router and redoing Internet connection on PC?

Is there a diagnosis you can run on the connection? I had a customer who also had issues getting online through VPN, but could get online when not using VPN. I'm not to sure on this issue. You are in fact unbanned and the 008 and 016 error codes do relate to other connection problems besides the ban.

As soon as they detect that device again they will ban that IP as well. it's like logging into a PSN account one after another and getting banned in minutes.... if you don't change your ID you keep getting banned

You need to think about the logic behind this.... You change your IP cool.... Your MAC is still the same. Pretty obvious it's still the same device. By changing IP is like taking your router to a friend's house and expecting everything to be OK permanently. You didn't change your devices ID so no you will not be ok.

Considering the majority of people reporting the error are modders, I'd have to say it is intentional. Beastmodz has released video with live chat with Sony rep and they tell him his IP is banned due to detected software on his PS3. I changed my MAC address on my router and was back online in minutes after getting banned. Been 3 days now and h...

"ok did that and also when my VPN is connected from PS3 to PC and I'm done testing the connection on my PlayStation it just results in four zeros at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen and sometimes it will show up with an IP but I can't sign in and it gives me the error" (gwinn2) Try without VPN. If your IP resets by just resetti...

"wont resetting router lose everything ?" (gwinn2) No you will not lose a thing. Unplug it for a solid 15-20 minutes. Your router, not ps3.

"But the thing is it will just get banned again within a day and after 24/48hours it will be unbanned." (SeiffyTheGod) This is 100% untrue

Posted by cj-da-fatty , 01-13-2017 04:43 PM.

"Its an IP ban, all u need to do is change your External IP. ether reset your router or call your ISP to get it changed." (Kronos) Yeah I did try setting my router with no luck. I feel like changing IP without changing MAC will lead to another ban. All I've done is change MAC, which assigns new IP as well, and I'm on day 3 no further ban...
